Step 1

On your acceptance of our quotation we will finalise any further variations and requests you may have.

Step 2

On your authority to proceed, by signing the QMBA Preliminary Agreement and paying the initial fee, we then prepare and arrange the following items;

  • Soil Testing
  • Engineer Foundation and Slab Designs
  • Drafting of Plans
  • Specification to your personal requirements

Once the above items are complete, we will then issue you with a Housing Industry Association (QMBA) building agreement for your approval.

Step 3

Once your QMBA Home Construction Contract is signed, a further Deposit is then payable to the Builder, as set out in the schedule of payments in the QMBA Building contract.

While your plans are submitted to council for approval, it will be time to have some fun choosing the colours and completing the final building specification document, for your new home.

Step 4

When your plans are approved for construction, colour selection completed, finance approval received and land settled, we can start the construction of your new home.

Step 5

The construction of your new home should take approximately 4 months or as set out in your QMBA building agreement; this is of course dependent on weather conditions and other allowable delays beyond the Builders control. You will be directly in touch with our Supervisor and Builder throughout the building process.

Step 6

Once your home has reached practical completion, we will arrange to meet with you on site to do an inspection of your new home and fill out a QMBA practical completion certificate.
